Lia and I took a road trip to visit our good friends that moved to another state two years ago. It was a long time to drive in the car but well worth it. Chloe stayed home with her daddy because we knew she couldn't handle the nine hours in the car. So here are some of the pictures from our trip. Lia and Alyce had such a great time being together for three days!! Oh and notice the picture of Lia's curly hair! Alyce had these funky hair roller things that we used and it totally worked to curl Lia's normally straight locks. She loved it! It reminded me of those old fashioned rag rollers that they used in the Little House on the Prairie days : )

March madness

Well the end of March is upon us bringing with it the promise of some beautiful weather!! We're excited about that after lots of snow this winter. I've included pictures of the lovely flowers Dan and the girls got me for my birthday. And I put in some pictures I took the other day of the girls. One was Chloe watching Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump movie which she just loves!! She surrounded herself with all the stuffed animals we have from the Pooh movie. And then our cat, Butterscotch, decided he too had to be on all the action so he managed to get on her beanbag. It was so cute! And the last pictures are of Lia and Chloe in their aprons helping me bake Sneaky Chef bonanza crunch muffins : )

Dear Weather

I appreciate that you wanted to get me something fabulous for my birthday but I think you were reading from my old Christmas wish list rather than my birthday one. Don't you remember for my birthday I asked for someone to cook or do the grocery shopping for me. I didn't ask for snow on the first ... day of spring!! Please let me know where I can return my gift.....it's really not to my liking!
