Well we got about 16+ inches of snow last night and into this morning. I think it set a new record actually. But it made for lots of fun white stuff for the girls and daddy to play in. Lia built a really cool snow fort which she hopes will last for the rest of the winter. The snow is still falling but it's definitely tapering off. Like Dan said, this is the kind of snow we remember from when we were kids!

Well this year for the first time since Dan and I have been married we stayed at home. Lia woke up yesterday morning not feeling well and running a fever so Nana and Papa couldn't come as originally planned. I was concerned that she wouldn't be ok for Christmas this morning because she was running a fever of 102 when I went to bed last night. But she woke up this morning with no fever and felt much improved so Christmas was saved.

Unfortunately I didn't get many good pictures of when we as a family celebrated Lia's birthday this year. We had lots of pictures from her birthday party which we had back in Oct. so I didn't worry about it too much. We celebrated Chloe's birthday this past weekend with her good friend Kate and her mom and dad as well as Nana and Papa. Chloe loved opening presents and blowing our the candles on her cake this year!! Birthdays are so much more fun when you're little......
