The big camp out

This weekend we had the opportunity to go on a backyard camp out with a group of our friends. Dan borrowed a tent from a co-worker and he and Lia spent the night out under the stars. Highlights of the evening included kayaking, swimming in the river, eating smores, and riding a 150 foot zip line. Even little Chloe rode the zip line all by herself (yep, she's a gutsy little thing)!! We had such a great night together as families just letting our kids play and play and play!

And on a cute note Dan said that when they went to bed around 10:30 p.m. they were laying there and Lia said, "Dad, can you please turn off the bugs." She's not used to hearing quite that much noise from the wildlife at our house :-)
