This last week we took a field trip to a local dairy. We got to see how the entire operation works and we also got to sample some of the final product....ice cream! It was particularly cute when we were with the baby calves how if you put your finger in their cage they would suck on it and not bite it. Chloe loved it! And she loved being able to feed the big cows. We also got to go to their petting area and the kids had a lot of fun using a pulley to take grass up in a bucket to a couple of enterprising goats who were eagerly waiting at the top of the platform for some free food :-)
