Chinese Heritage camp

Last week Lia had the opportunity to attend Chinese heritage camp for four days. They also had camp for kids from Korea, South America, and Eastern Europe. For the China camp, they learn all about China and Chinese culture. Lia learned about how fireworks, ice cream and paper were all invented in China. And at the end of camp they had a show where all the kids dressed up in outfits from their country and sang a song. Grandma and Grandpa H were able to come see Lia perform which made her feel very special. Here's a picture of her in her Chinese outfit with her red hat with the Olympic pin on it (all the kids from China got one of these hats).
