We had our school friends over last Friday night to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We all ordered our favorite Chinese food and then we shared which was fun. Lia and I made seven dozen sugar cookies (the gluten free kind from scratch for our family) to make Chinese moon pies. You put jam between two sugar cookies so Lia helped me and we "frosted" all the cookies into jam sandwiches.Lia, Chloe and I also made some really cool Chinese dragons out of brown paper bags for the occasion. Chloe adored putting the bag over her head and growling like a dragon.
This Saturday we are going to a Chinese New party with several of our friends so I'll have lots more pictures to post after that : )
