The first picture here was the scene in Lia's mouth last week Monday. Her first permanent tooth was nudging its way into her mouth behind her baby teeth. We actually had a dentist's appointment that day and Dr. Kermit (who is a very good family friend besides being our dentist) said her tooth was so loose that if she kept on wiggling it then it would come out all by itself. And so she did just that and lo and behold last night her very first baby tooth came out! So the last two pictures show the scene in Lia's mouth now! We have plans to write a note to the tooth fairy tonight to ask her if it's ok if Lia keeps this tooth for her own personal collection. But Lia wants her to still leave the money for the tooth : )
