Ice extravaganza

So as I mentioned before, today was Lia's ice skating birthday party. It was just a very small group of girls - Hannah, Jane, our two neighbors girls Leila and Isabella, and Carley, the girl who played Pochahontas in Lia's play. Carley was the only one of the girls who had been skating before. However, these were a group of determined skaters and they all did a fantastic job considering it was their first time. And they had a lot of fun doing it which is the most important thing. Then we came back to our house to open presents and have cupcakes and ice cream. And all Lia's friends picked out presents that were things she had always wanted so she was thrilled to open each one!
