Well it's now 2009 and I was thinking last night, what a difference a year can make. All our three year wait for Chloe is behind us and we don't dwell on it any more. And we have the two sweetest little girls to tuck into bed every night now. Life is wonderful!!Today we had a visit from Vicki and Jinnae. Vicki and I met through our social worker as Vicki didn't know anyone else going through the LONG adoption process. We became friends and tried to keep each other encouraged as we waited. Vicki's daughter Jinnae is only four months older than Chloe. They got their referral for Jinnae in March last year so it was a couple of months before we got ours. Anyway, the girls came over today to see little Chloe and Vicki and I were commenting on how different it is now than when we met last year at this time. Back then neither of us had our referrals yet and we still weren't sure quite how much longer it was going to take. God is good as we both had our daughters in our homes by the end of Sept. 2008!
