At 3:45 p.m. China time, Julie and Bill met their baby daughter (and our niece) Lucy for the very first time. It was a little chaotic with 14 families meeting their children for the first time in one room but the babies handled it pretty well. Her daddy held her most of the time and she really seemed to take to him. She was very, very tired from her long journey to Chongqing (about 6-7 hour train ride) so she fell asleep on Bill's chest as soon as we left the meeting room area. So glad we could be there for this joyous occasion more than three years in the making!!!
