Last night while we were laying in bed (after having gotten up with Chloe for the umteenth time), we were listening to the howling wind blowing away. This morning when we got up we got a chance to see what it was like out there. There is a LOT of standing water. The hotel has sandbags by the doors to keep out the water. Some of the pictures are from our room on the 14th floor and some of them are from when Dan went down to the main floor and took pictures. Two of the pictures you see are of what were the swimming pools the other day. You can just see the ladders sticking out on the one picture and the other picture all you can see are the palm branches that are around the pool.We're supposed to go to the American Consulate today for our swearing in ceremony with the girls. Hopefully all the water in the roads won't make this too difficult. We're riding in a big bus so I think it will be fine. Michelle, our guide, said she hoped to have more information today about whether or not we'd have any problems with our flight out tomorrow. Keep praying!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe the pictures!! I hope you are able to get to the consulate today. I'm heading to bed but will be sending up some prayers before I do. I will pray that the water recedes and that your flight can leave as planned.
